In humans, fertilization is the fusion of sperm with egg. If false, give the correct definition of fertilization.

Uhh..yeah you got it wrong. Answer is false. The proper definition: fertilization is the fusion of sperm NUCLEUS with egg NUCLEUS. Sperm can enter the egg, but fertlization doesn’t yet occur — the egg has to then complete meiosis II (while the sperm is lodged inside the egg cytoplasm) before it’s nucleus can fuse with the sperm nucleus. By definition, the cell does not become a zygote until the two nuclei fuse.
In any case, you’ll say that this isn’t highschool biology, cheap…
